The Frank and Eleanor Freed Collection documents the lives and careers of Frank and Eleanor Freed, respected members of the Houston arts and philanthropic community. The collection consists of personal and professional correspondence, papers detailing the history of and inspiration for Frank Freed´s works, extensive documentation on the exhibition of Freed´s work, and files on artistic movements, art objects and influential members of the artistic and philanthropic communities. The collection features a large number of photographs, specifically photographic stills of Freed´s works as well as photos of Frank and Eleanor Freed, their colleagues, family, and friends.
